JKA Bahrain is an official branch established under the umbrella of the Japan Karate Association\World Federation, which is headquartered in Tokyo, Japan. The Bahrain branch was officially granted its license from Japan in January 2007; in early 2010, the official branch was inaugurated under the commercial registration of “Japan Martial Arts Center, W.L.L”, a foreign-owned limited liabilities company established in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
The branch was created, developed, and was managed by the owner of the commercial registration, Mr. Ehab Eshehawi and than transfered to Mr. Walid Omeish. The uniqueness of JKA Bahrain is that it is an organization not based on an individual system, but rather on a holistic organization run as an "Educational Institute" where many instructors are engaged; full-time and volunteer instructors are allowed to participate in the training and teaching provided that they are certified from JKA Tokyo. Additionally, several committees have been established to ensure that the organization can continue its operations regardless of its staffing situation. The W.L.L. company embodies a full board and board members with a full article of association and yearly audited statements submitted and approved by the Ministry of Finance in the Kingdom of Bahrain.
